Congrats to the boys (Will Woodhouse, Brian Jackson, Aaron Smith, Christian Klute, Andrew Byrum, Chris Mirek, and Pierce Fussell) for finishing in 7th place at the 4-A State Championships on 10/31/08.

Congrats. to all the runners that competed at the regional meet. We had a lot of PRs. The girls finished 10th in the region and the boys finished 4th. The boys qualified for the state championship meet that will be held at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons NC. The boys are now in the final 16 teams in the state.
Here are the times for our athletes. Will Woodhouse moved up to the 11th fastest XC runner in LRHS history. Brian Jackson moved to 13th, and Alissa Locke got on the TOP 25 LIST today and is in 24th place.
Once again, the boys qualified for the State Championship Meet next weekend. The boys will race at 10:00 at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. I am sure they would appreciate some fans cheering them on!!! Hopefully a lot of XC runners and families can make the trip to support the guys.
