I was watching the times and scores as they came in and I am very proud of both the men's and the women's teams.Great job men for placing third. Based on the times that posted, there was a lot of competition and you guys did an excellent job.Congratulations to the women for winning the CAP 7 championship! This is two years in a row and I know that each and every one of you worked very hard to earn this accomplishment.
Congrats again! I am very proud of all of you!

* You must have a Wake County High School Athletic Participation form on file

In order to tryout for the swimming and diving team, all participants must have the appropriate athletic participation forms on file. Most of these forms can be found at the following website http://www.leesville.org/Athletics/forms/athletic_participation.pdf.
*Pages 1-4 are the physical that must be filled out by a physician and the eligibility and authorization form that must be signed by both the athlete and their parent/guardian. Please make sure that the physician’s office stamps the physical.
*Page 5 is the permission to treat form that must be on file in order for Leesville Road High School to treat your athlete in case of emergency. Please fill out the top and bottom portions.
*There is a separate form that cannot be found on the website, but must be picked up on the door of room 206 beginning October 5, 2009. It is the athlete traveling form that must be on hand for all off campus athletic events. Since our tryouts and practices are held off campus, this form must be turned in before the first day of tryouts.
*At swim meets, points are only scored in first heat, no matter what subsequent heat's times
are.
Regular events:
Everyone in heat 1 scores. 1st place gets 8 points, 2nd gets 7....8th gets 1.
Relays:
1st place gets 16 points, 2nd place gets 14, 3rd gets 12...8th gets 2.
