The 4-A State Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at UNC on Feb. 13th. 
The meet will start at 4pm and you can find the meet schedule at http://www.nchsaa.org
 
Here are that athletes that qualified for the state indoor championships and also lettered for the indoor track season:

Reminders and Results:

1.  Here is a list of names of athletes that checked off Track & Field on their physicals.   If a name is highlighted and bold, then that person's physical is out of date or is missing something.  If someone's name is not on this list, then they do not have a physical on  file OR they did not check off track & field on the physical.  If you are planning on trying out for track and your name is not on this list or is highlighted, please see me ASAP.
 
2.  Monday, Feb. 15th (first day of spring tryouts)  is now a regular school  day.  Tryouts will start at 2:45.

Here are the results from the UNC meet on Jan. 17th.  We had several top 10 finishes and state meet qualifiers 

Any parents or athletes that are on the cross country email list and would like to be added to the track email list, PLEASE let me know ASAP so I can update the track email list.      I will not send out anymore emails about Track to the cross country email list.Here is some general info. about indoor and outdoor track.  Please pay attention to due dates for physicals.

Here is the outdoor track schedule for the 2010 season.   All dual meet, conference meet, WCC meet, regional meet, and state meet dates and locations are set.     I do not have confirmation yet on the Apex Lions meet, but it will probably be on the Saturday listed.       There might be a chance we add another invitational once the season gets here.     

It will be great if as many parents as possible are able to work all the home meets and do the same jobs at each meet, so hopefully we will have a great group of knowledgeable volunteers by the time we get to the CAP-7 meet.

 
Please volunteer as much as possible and help at the CAP-7 meet to make sure the kids have a great conference meet experience!!!!!!!!!
 
FYI:  It takes around 25 volunteers to run a regular DUAL meet.    We will need more than that for CAP-7.

 

EMAILS....   Please do not think I am ignoring you if I do not respond to your emails.   Unless you ask me a specific question I will probably not respond.   I do read the emails and pay attention to them.... but I typically do not respond due to the LARGE number of emails I get each day.   Please continue to send me the emails... I like being informed about issues, but just do not be bothered by the fact that I might not be able to respond to them all.
